Code of Conduct
The Blue Mountain Golf & Country Club is committed to providing an environment that is free of discrimination, harassment and intimidation and that is based on mutual respect, co-operation and understanding for members, guests, Club employees and Catering Staff.
Members and guests will:
1. Play in the spirit of the game by acting with integrity and showing consideration to others.
2. Avoid reprimanding Club employees or other golfers. Instead, the management team and Board of Directors welcomes constructive comments and suggestions.
3. Avoid slow play, apply ready golf principles, allow other golfers to play through and stay apace with the group ahead.
4. Not use abusive language and avoid emotional outbursts.
5. Take care of our course. Replace or fill divots, rake bunkers, repair ball marks on the green, respect cart path signs when using a power cart and do not intentionally abuse the golf course.
Any breach of the Club’s standards or serious misconduct by a member of their guest will be subject to disciplinary action as outlined in the Club’s by-laws and policies.
Personal Alcohol on the Property:
1. Personal alcohol consumed on the property is a direct violation of our Club`s liquor license and puts the license at risk.
2. Member violators will receive a warning letter for a first offence and a suspension of golf/club privileges for a second or subsequent offences.
3. Non-members/ public golfers / tournament players will be asked to leave property immediately with no refund of green fees or rentals.
